Become a GPI Mentor
ESPN's Jessica Mendoza works with GPI reporter Sifa Mukayuhi at the GPI Rwanda News Desk.
Global Press Institute mentors are professional journalists, editors and writers with a passion for giving back. GPI is looking for 20 professional storytellers to help suport, mentor and coach new GPI reporters by giving feedback on story drafts.
Mentors must have at least two hours each month for a 12-month period. Mentors will connect with GPI reporters via an online platform where they can provide professional reporting tips, story coaching and general feedback.
GPI reporters work in collaborative, supportive newsrooms around the world with access to a sophisticated network of GPI editors. Mentors are intended to provide additional personal and professional support.
