The Gift of Employment to an Emerging Journalist
The Press Institute and Project Africa have teamed up to launch a new Global Training Site in Kenya in 2010. Every $250 donation ensures that one woman has the opportunity to graduate from our Journalism Training Program and become a professional, employed journalist.
The $10,000 Journalist's Circle
Are you an editor, a reporter, or media professional?
Show your support for courageous, ethical, independent journalism by joining The Press Institute's Journalist's Circle. The Journalist's Circle campaign runs from November 1 2009 to March 1, 2010 with the goal of getting 100 journalists from around the world to donate $100 each!
Invest in Social Entrepreneurship
The Press Institute recently launched our Global Business Development initiative. Beginning in the Spring of 2010, The Press Institute will begin creating small businesses in the communities where we operate Global Training Sites. These businesses will support our core mission to educate and empower people, while also generating revenue for local programs.
